Orbital ATK’s Frank DeMauro Receives NASA Public Service Medal; Frank Culbertson Comments

Frank DeMauro, Orbital ATK’s vice president of human space systems for the civil and defense division of the space systems group, has received the Public Service Medal from NASA.

The space agency honored DeMauro’s aerospace career and contribution to two commercial resupply missions for the International Space Station, Orbital ATK said Wednesday.

Frank Culbertson, president of Orbital ATK’s space systems group, said the award recognizes DeMauro’s work to forge relationships with teams and customers.

DeMauro has led Orbital ATK’s development, production and delivery efforts for several Cygnus spacecraft.

He is also responsible for the company’s Antares launch vehicle program activity.
