Cloud securityQTS and Vion have partnered to jointly deliver federally-approved public and hybrid cloud service offerings in the U.S. government sector.

The companies aim to help customer agencies lower total cost of ownership, increase utilization rate and accelerate deployment of cloud-based systems designed to comply with the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, Vion said Tuesday.

Dan Bennewitz, chief operating officer of sales and marketing at QTS, said that Vion brings more than three decades of government technology delivery experience to the partnership.

The alliance also seeks to combine Vion’s experience in enterprise applications and QTS’ work in data center and infrastructure management.
