Michael Sheridan, formerly chief financial officer at FireEye, has joined electronic signature technology provider DocuSign as CFO and will report to the company’s Chairman and CEO Keith Krach.
DocuSign said Wednesday Sheridan will succeed former CFO Mike Dinsdale, who will assume the role of chief growth officer.
“[Sheridan] has a remarkable track record of building high growth companies in some of the most important areas of tech,” said Krach.
“We’re fortunate to have his financial leadership and business experience at DocuSign.”
Sheridan has also held the CFO position at Mimosa Systems, Facebook and SonicWall .
Dinsdale, who has been part of DocuSign’s executive team since 2010, has previously worked at Lithium Technologies and Velocity11.
As chief growth officer, he will oversee the company’s mergers and acquisitions, investment partnerships, corporate development and the expansion of the DocuSign Global Trust Network.
