Neel Mehta
Bernie Elero serves as senior vice president of business development and capture management at AECOM‘s intelligence community business.
He joined the company in 2014 and is responsible for helping identify new business opportunities, capture contracts and build relationships with customers in the intelligence market.
Before AECOM, Elero held the roles of senior VP and chief growth officer at L-3 Communications‘national security solutions business for three years and oversaw business strategy, marketing, capture, proposal management and systems integration functions.
He also worked as an executive vice president at Cobham between 2009 and 2011.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Pittsburgh and master’s degree in finance from Eastern Michigan University.
