Neel Mehta
Michelle Hertz serves as vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at CGI Federal, the U.S. government subsidiary of information technology consulting firm CGI Group.
The two-decade GovCon veteran advises CGI Federal on corporate governance, compliance, government relations and other legal issues.
Hertz also oversees compliance and security programs under the company’s contracts department.
She joined CGI Federal in 2010 after close to a year at DynCorp International and also worked for five years as VP of federal contracts and division counsel at Michael Baker Corp.
She worked at Holland & Knight LLP as associate of government contracts practices for nearly six years and as a contracting officer at the Naval Air Systems Command for eight years.
The American Bar Association Public Contracts Law Section member holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and French from St. Lawrence University and a juris doctorate from George Mason University School of Law.
