Intelligent Automation Lands DHS Mobile Security R&D Contract - top government contractors - best government contracting event

mobile-securityIntelligent Automation has been awarded a $1.2 million contract to carry out research and development work on mobile security for the Department of Homeland Security's Science and Technology Directorate.

The award calls for Intelligent Automation to assess several methods in an effort to safeguard operating systems, identity, firmware and other mobile device layers from malicious software, DHS said Thursday.

Maryland-based Intelligent Automation will also work to deploy TRUsted Monitor and Protection software security platform for Advanced RISC Machines in order to disrupt threat actors' capacity to attack mobile devices.

The contract is part of the Mobile Device Security R&D program that seeks to develop tools intended for transactional security procedures, mobile security management, device layer protection and mobile device instrumentation.
