KBR Awarded UK Commercial Service Facilities Mgmt Contract; Andrew Barrie Comments

KBR has been awarded a four-year, $52 million contract to provide facilities management services to U.K. government customers.

KBR will deliver services, a computer aided facilities management system, management information, and reporting and assurance support under the Crown Commercial Service Facilities Management Assurance Framework, the company said Monday.

“We are delighted to have been selected by the Crown Commercial Service to continue delivering our expertise in this area,” said Andrew Barrie, head of government services for KBR Ltd.

The framework aims to give public sector organizations a wide selection of support services.
