leidos_purpleLeidos has funded a healthcare data analytics pilot program at Georgia Institute of Technology with $40,000 in donation.

Georgia Tech will use the funding to develop a data analytics platform in the Interoperability and Integration Innovation Lab, Leidos said Thursday.

“These efforts reflect an industry imperative for the work we do every day to optimize data, making it useful for population health and to improve operating efficiencies in healthcare,” said Doug Barton, chief technology officer for Leidos’ health business and an I3L industry advisory board member.

The money represents Leidos’ third donation to Georgia Tech’s I3L in support of the lab’s Triple Aim Initiative and healthcare missions.
