StockMissileLaunchMDARaytheon has ordered radar tracking transponders worth $3.8 million from a Kratos subsidiary for installation in the advanced medium-range air-to-air missile system.

Fort Walton Beach-based Micro Systems will carry out the task for three years, Kratos said Sept. 2.

“We are very pleased to continue our lon-standing relationship with Raytheon Missile Systems,” said Kevin Ferguson Sr., vice president and general manager of Micro Systems.

“This multiyear contract demonstrates our long-term commitment to the success of the AMRAAM… program and this very valuable customer.”
