Capstone CEO Rich White eyes an opportunity for the company to support the U.S. Special Operations Command as part of a team selected for the contract to provide training, education and management support services.

The company said Friday the Lukos-VATC Joint Venture, of which Capstone is a member, will be able to compete for task orders under the contract.

USSOCOM awarded positions on the potential $450 million contract to eight companies, including that joint venture.

“[USSOCOM] plays a significant role in our nation’s application of military forces to support our national security objectives,” White said.
