WidePoint and consulting firm Bob Day & Associates have formed a partnership to pursue business opportunities in the homeland security and cyber technology markets.
Retired Coast Guard Rear Adm. Robert Day Jr., principal at Bob Day & Associates, will collaborate with WidePoint to seek new homeland security and cyber clients, WidePoint said Tuesday.
“We are thrilled to have Admiral Day assist WidePoint going forward as we pursue new opportunities in the federal and commercial spaces for our proprietary information technology solutions,” said Steve Komar, chairman and CEOÂ of WidePoint.
Day served as the chief of planning and budget for the Coast Guard’s electronics systems division at Maintenance and Logistics Command Pacific, and as commander of the electronic systems support unit in Boston.
