BoeingLogo1 EbizBoeing has concluded its work to install a new imagery tool in F-22 Raptor training simulators at the U.S. Air Force’s mission training centers.

The Constant Resolution Visual System installed on 20 training simulators works to provide F-22 fighter pilots with a 360-degree view of the flight environment, Boeing said Friday.

Boeing partnered with the service branch to equip the flight simulators with CRVS at several Air Force bases in Florida, Hawaii, Alaska and Virginia.

The CRVS tool is designed to provide the “warfighter with constant target visibility throughout the entire field of vision,” said Scott Whitaker, display team manager at Boeing.

The visual system is also installed on simulators of various aircraft, such as F-16 Fighting Falcon, AH-64 Apache, BAE Hawk and M-346 Master.

Boeing works with Pratt & Whitney and Lockheed Martin to provide sustainment, maintenance and aircrew training systems and logistics work for F-22 fighter jets.
