Randy Wood serves as vice president of federal sales at F5 Networks, an application delivery networking platform provider.

Wood oversees customer partnerships and relationships with systems integrators and original equipment manufacturers, as well as manages sales in the U.S. federal government marketplace.

The 23-year information technology sales veteran worked for 12 years at Cisco and held the role of VP of U.S. public sector collaboration sales before he moved to F5 Networks in 2013.

Wood was VP of sales at Agent Logic and served in the same capacity at Informatica after it acquired Agent Logic in 2009.

He spent nearly two years as director of sales at Symantec, where he helped craft go-to-market strategies and handled services and software sales within the intelligence community and defense sector.

The U.S. Marine Corps veteran holds a bachelor“™s degree in mathematics from the Virginia Military Institute and a master“™s degree in IT from the George Washington University.
