Hortonworks Wins 3rd Straight Teradata Award for Big Data Intelligence

medalsHortonworks has received awards for its big data portfolio and collaborative revenue as part of the annual Teradata EPIC Awards program for the data analytics sector.

Hortonworks said Tuesday that its data analytics partnership with Teradata centers on the Hortonworks Data Platform 2.3 offering.

The platform works with the Teradata Portfolio for Hadoop to create a data lake and support scalable data processing operations.

“We are honored to win the big data intelligence award for the third consecutive year and the collaborative revenue category for the first time as we partner to provide big data analytics and Apache Hadoop for the enterprise,” said Matthew Morgan, vice president of product and alliance marketing at Hortonworks.
