The Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council has granted Fidelis Cybersecurity a certification to help financial services companies to manage compromised data.
“The PCI Forensic Investigator certification allows us to engage with payment card companies immediately following an attack to quickly detect, investigate and stop the theft of critical information,” Michael Buratowski, vice president of Fidelis’ consulting services group, said Friday.
Fidelis said it also collaborates with law enforcement agencies to examine illegal cyber activities in the financial services industry.
The company employs incident response and forensic professionals who aim to help clients remediate data breaches with threat intelligence and network and endpoint management tools.
