Motorola Solutions has introduced an integrated device offering that combines body-worn video camera, radio speaker and microphone designed for law enforcement requirements.
The Si500 and Si300 video speaker microphone functions hand in hand with the cloud-based CommandCentral Vault storage service, Motorola said Tuesday.
Bruce Brda, executive vice president of systems and products for Motorola Solutions, said the device works to consolidate the existing tools law enforcers use with technology designed to improve and lower the cost of digital evidence management.
Motorola incorporates voice communications, real-time video, photos and emergency alerts into the Si500 and Si300 devices.
The company has also tapped Adobe to provide content, workflow and digital rights management systems, as well as its Adobe Creative Cloud tools for CommandCentral Vault.
