Carahsoft to Distribute Samsung Mobile Security Platform in US Public Sector; Robert Moore Comments

mobile-securityCarahsoft Technology will offer Samsung Electronics America’s KNOX mobile security tool to U.S. public sector agencies under a distribution agreement both companies have reached.

The covers KNOX Workspace container and KNOX Premium platform, Carahsoft said Tuesday .

KNOX Workspace is designed to encrypt corporate data in employees’ mobile devices, while the KNOX Premium works to allow information technology administrators to use a cloud-based console system to manage mobile platforms and protect enterprise data.

Robert Moore, a senior vice president at Carahsoft, said his company’s partnership with Samsung aims to help Carahsoft and resale partners work with clients in government and education sectors to address challenges in mobile enterprise markets.
