F-35BUnited Technologies Corp. subsidiary Pratt & Whitney has selected Multicut A/S to produce components for the F135 engine under a 10-year procurement agreement.

F135 serves as the propulsion system for the F-35 Lightning II aircraft, Pratt & Whitney said Monday.

Bennett Croswell, president of Pratt & Whitney military engines, said the contract “reaffirms Pratt & Whitney’s commitment to F135 engine industrial participation in Denmark.”

Multicut will be part of Pratt & Whitney’s F135 global supply chain, he added.

Denmark eyes the F-35 aircraft as a replacement for the legacy F-16 aircraft, Pratt & Whitney said.
