technology, cyber, cloud, computerQTS Realty Trust has received a Cisco cloud and managed services certification for the former company’s disaster recovery as a service and infrastructure as a service products.

Cisco audited QTS’ enterprise and federal cloud offerings designed to provide Cisco-powered DRaaS and IaaS services, QTS said Friday.

Frank Eagle, vice president of business development at QTS, said Cisco’s certification highlights QTS’ eff0rts to providing compliant cloud and managed services to customers.

Customers will be able to run their information technology applications using the QTS DRaaS offering.

QTS plans to build hybrid cloud services based on Cisco Intercloud Fabric software to help clients work across private and public clouds.
