Raytheon logo_EbizRaytheon Co. has concluded a program planning review for the company’s Multi-Object Kill Vehicle prototype in collaboration with the Missile Defense Agency as part of a process to define the platform’s aspects.

MDA and the company assessed the program ahead of a concept review in December to continue work under a contract awarded to Raytheon in August, the company said Friday.

Thomas Bussing, vice president of advanced missile systems at Raytheon, said the company aims to apply “decades of experience across four kill vehicle programs and vast tactical weapon expertise across every domain and mission area” for the MOKV program.

MOKV is intended to target objects using sensor, divert and attitude control, and communication systems.
