Unisys Corp. has been awarded a one-year extension to provide information technology services to Empresas Publicas de Medellin, a public utilities company in Colombia.
Unisys will produce additional devices, firewalls, servers and applications for the new contract, the company said Tuesday.
In 2014, the company began its work to identify and respond to security incidents across EPM using Unisys’ BeATo benchmark assessment tool and noise cancellation advanced analytics platform.
“The results we have achieved to date have led to the extension of our relationship with EPM, and we will continue to leverage advanced technologies and services to achieve even higher levels of performance,” said Carlos Ferrer, vice president and general manager of Unisys enterprise solutions for Central, Southern and Andean Latin America.
