AT&T has moved to offer its cloud networking service to federal agencies that seek to gain access to Amazon Web Services’ GovCloud (US) platform.
Agencies can connect their virtual private networks to AWS GovCloud (US) through AT&T NetBond offering, AT&T said Tuesday.
AT&T NetBond works to connect users to cloud services without the use of public Internet and integrate VPNs with cloud providers through software-defined networking platforms.
Kay Kapoor, president of government solutions business at AT&T, said AT&T NetBond aims to help public sector clients achieve cost-efficiency and gain private access to services available in the AWS GovCloud (US) platform.
AWS GovCloud is certified under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program and works to help agencies manage workloads based on their compliance and regulatory requirements.
