Daniel Wilbricht, formerly senior director of the Defense Department and national security programs at Dell, has joined LogRhythm as senior director of federal sales.

Wilbricht will be responsible for the company’s effort to align product, sales, marketing, service and support channels in the U.S. federal market, LogRhythm said Wednesday.

“He will be a critical voice as we continue to strengthen our partnerships with government agencies who are working to defend their networks and stay ahead of an ever-changing landscape of compliance requirements and cyber security threats,” said Jon Bickford, vice president of Americas sales at LogRhythm.

Wilbricht, a two-decade intelligence veteran, previously served as regional manager of intelligence programs for the public sector group at Red Hat before he joined Dell.

He was also a federal director at Appistry after he worked for Autonomy, Stellent and Eprise.
