military in trainingGeneral Dynamics has partnered with Troysgate to build simulation technology that seeks to help military and law enforcement personnel improve their shooting and decision-making skills, Defense News reported Thursday.

Jen Judson writes that General Dynamics’ InForce Advanced Live Combat System Training platform is a combination of virtual and live-fire simulators.

General Dynamics exhibited the system during this week’s Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference in Florida.

The platform is designed with a Troysgate-built lightweight reflective target technology that works to keep trainees and role players safe from any flying bullet during a simulated engagement.

General Dynamics also integrated a wireless detector and participant tracker system from the company’s information technology business into InForce.
