LGS Innovations has received an award from insurance firm CNA in recognition of LGS’ efforts to prevent accidents and address safety concerns in workplaces.
CNA handed the Leadership in Risk Control award to David Twigg, senior manager of environment, health and safety at LGS Innovations, at LGS’ corporate office in Virginia, LGS said Dec. 22.
“This award represents the collaboration between LGS and the CNA Risk Control team to mitigate a serious ‘at-risk condition’ that, if left unresolved, could have resulted in significant negative impact to safety and business continuity,†Twigg said.
LGS’ facility, real estate and environment health and safety teams collaborated with CNA to assess and improve life safety platforms in an effort to address potential safety issues in case of a fire.
