Leidos sponsored the Washington Wizards’ Military Night game versus the Miami Heat at Verizon Center on Wednesday.
The Reston, Va.-based company donated $100 to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation for every blocked shot a piece during the season under the Defending the Rim program, Leidos said Tuesday.
“We’re excited that, through our continued sponsorship of Military Appreciation Night, we’re able to support our military veterans, troops and their families,” said Roger Krone, Leidos CEO.
The company gave 300 free tickets to the United Service Organizations for active duty members and their family.
Leidos also served as the presenting sponsor of the service member ticket donation program to help Wizards ticket holders donate their unused tickets to U.S. military service members.
