Lockheed Martin and Advanced Electronics Company have launched a Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod Expanded Repair Capability center in Saudi Arabia to provide sustainment support to Sniper ATPs.
Lockheed said Thursday this first-ever ATP support center outside U.S. will help improve repair and fleet readiness and increase the local manufacturing base.
“We are proud to partner with AEC to enhance in-Kingdom technical capabilities through work performed at this center,†said Alan Chinoda, chief executive of Lockheed Martin in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
“By working with technology leaders like Lockheed Martin, AEC can expand its manufacturing and repair base and service the needs of customers in our region,†added a Mohammed Al-Khalifah, senior vice president at AEC.
