Ed Sheehan Jr., president and CEO of Concurrent Technologies Corp., has received recognition from the National Safety Council for his commitment to create and maintain a healthy and safe work environment.

“Our leadership team is committed to employee safety and our employees are actively involved at all levels,” Sheehan said in a statement released Tuesday.

He noted that CTC has helped the Defense Department implement safety management programs and systems intended to cut the risk of occupational diseases and injuries across DoD.

The company has conducted more than 500 safety management and industrial hygiene evaluations at the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army‘s Public Health Command, according to Sheehan.

NSC will feature Sheehan in the February issue of the council’s Safety+Health magazine.
