Orbital ATKOrbital ATK has established a new regional office in Singapore for a push to expand its footprint and better serve clients in the greater Asian commercial and defense markets.

“About 20 percent of the company’s sales are to international customers and we are seeking further growth in these important markets,” Tim Shephard, corporate vice president of international business development at Orbital ATK, said Thursday.

Bill Rose, Orbital ATK’s senior regional director for Asia Pacific operations, will manage the Singapore-based office.

The company offers aircraft warning systems, fuzes, ammunition, flares and countermeasure technology and Bushmaster cannons to military organizations.

It also builds commercial communications satellites, Earth observation and remote-sensing spacecraft, space hardware, pressure vessels, launch vehicles and ground terminals.
