NavyC5ISRProgeny Systems and Decisive Analytics have received separate contracts from the Office of Naval Research to help build tools for synchronization of the U.S. Navy‘s intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance data, Military & Aerospace Electronics reported Thursday.

John Keller writes ONR awarded $2.3 million to Decisive Analytics and $2.1 million to Progeny under the Exchange of Actionable Information at the Tactical Edge initiative.

Navy researchers will work with the two companies to develop software for data conditioning, actionable information tactical applications and network adaptive communication services, Keller reports.

The report said the platforms will be built to help naval forces gather, process and disseminate ISR information as well as gain situational awareness of operational and tactical missions on land and at sea.
