$headshot Kellye WalkerKellye Walker, Huntington Ingalls Industries corporate vice president and general counsel, has been selected for a membership on the Executive Leadership Council.

The ELC has over 600 current and former black executive level members.

ELC members work to create an environment where black leaders can contribute to the development of the market and communities served, Huntington Ingalls said Friday.

“Congratulations to Kellye on this special distinction,” said Huntington Ingalls President and CEO Mike Petters.

“Her selection to membership in the Executive Leadership Council is a credit to her as a thoughtful and insightful leader.

Prior to her joining Huntington Ingalls in January 2015 as a corporate vice president and general counsel, Walker held leadership roles as a senior vice president for American Water, Diageo North America and BJ’s Wholesale Club.
