Huntington-Logo_ExecutiveBizA subsidiary of Huntington Ingalls Industries has received a potential five-year, $13.7 million contract to support environmental surveillance, education and research activities at an Energy Department facility in Idaho.

HII said Wednesday its unit SN3 will continue to provide ESER services to the department’s Idaho operations office in partnership with Wastren Advantage.

The contract has a one-year base period of performance that will begin April 1 and a four-year option period that could extend work until March 31, 2021.

SN3 has supported DOE’s environmental program over the past 15 years.
