iDirect Government has unveiled its new portfolio of defense remotes and line cards that aims to deliver bandwidth efficiency and reduced footprint to government customers.
The company said Monday the 9-Series remotes feature the Evolution 3.4 software and work to double the 8-Series’ capacity through extended frequency ranges.
iDirect added the 950mp, 900 and 9350 remotes supports access to Wideband Global Satellites and High Throughput Satellites and reception of multiprotocol encapsulation broadcasts.
The 9-Series defense line cards include the DLC-T and DLC-R, which seek to provide secure voice, data and video communications, the company noted.
John Ratigan, iDirect Government president, said the 9-Series aims to deliver on the needs of field operators who want lower footprint without affecting performance and functionality.
