Ron Pasek Named NetApp CFO; George Kurian Comments

Sunnyvale, California-based computer storage and data management company NetApp has appointed former Altera Chief Financial Officer Ron Pasek to the roles of executive vice president and CFO.

The three-decade financial leadership veteran will join the company on April 11 to replace interim CFO Jeffrey Bergmann, NetApp said Wednesday.

Prior to Altera, he spent 20 years in finance positions at Sun Microsystems before its acquisition by Intel.

At Sun, he helped spearhead that company’s revenue growth from $2 billion to $14 billion annually.

Bergmann will return to his previous role as VP of corporate finance at NetApp.
