CellTowerTrabus Technologies has won a potential $12.6 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide airborne communications and networking technical services to the U.S. Navy.

The company will also perform engineering, programmatic services and related certification and information assurance for new, existing and future developments to communication and networking systems, the Defense Department said Monday.

Trabus Technologies is one of four awardees that will compete for task orders during the contract’s ordering period.

The contract consists of a one-year base period and two one-year option periods and has a base value of $7.4 million.

DoD said Trabus will carry out contract work in San Diego, California, through March 6, 2019.

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific in San Diego, California, received seven bids for the contract via a request for proposal released in April 2015.
