ViON Corp. has received a three-year contract from the National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance to provide information technology platforms and support services to nonprofit and public sector agencies across the U.S.
The contract took effect in October 2015 and covers more than 15,700 cloud and big data offerings, warranties and professional services from ViON and its partners, ViON said Thursday.
“ViON is extremely pleased to be included among the premier technology vendors chosen by NCPA to support the goals and objectives of public agencies across the United States,“ said Tom Frana, president and CEO of ViON and an inductee into Executive Mosaic's Wash100 for 2016.
ViON will offer its FortresStore Active Archive, Agile Cloud Platform and DataAdapt Big Data products under the NCPA contract.
NCPA acquires products and services for more than 90,000 state and local government agencies, healthcare organizations, school districts and other agencies in the nonprofit and public sectors through competitive procurement processes.
