The nonprofit campaign 2020 Women on Boards has recognized Concurrent Technologies Corp. as a Winning “W” Company.

2020WOB bestows the designation to companies that have met the goal of having women occupy 20 percent or greater on the board of directors by 2020, CTC said Tuesday.

“CTC is honored to be recognized as a Winning ‘W’ Company that understands that good corporate decision-making requires the ability to hear and consider different points of view from people with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives,” said Ed Sheehan, CTC president and CEO.

CTC has two women – Margaret DiVirgilio and E. Jeanne Gleason — out of 10 board members.

The company said it is one of 662 companies listed as a Winning Company in the 2020WB gender diversity directory.

2020WB’s gender diversity index of Fortune 1000 companies indicates that only 17.9 percent of company board members are women, CTC noted.
