mobile-device-managementIcomedias has collaborated with Microsoft to create a mobile application designed to help public safety organizations to digitize paperwork, icomedias CEO Christian Ekhart wrote in an article published Thursday on Microsoft’s website.

Ekhart said the HYBRID.FORMS application is built upon Microsoft-built technology products such as Windows 10, SQL Server, SharePoint and Office 365.

The app will work to help first responders complete forms electronically using tablets and smartphones while they are working in the field or in areas without Internet, he added.

HYBRID.FORMS is designed to also manage photos, sketches, fingerprint data, audio and video recordings as well as integrate digitized information into an agency’s on-premise or cloud-based systems.

Ekhart noted the digitization app has helped a European police agency save approximately 20 to 30 minutes per officer a day.

Icomedias is a Microsoft-gold certified partner for collaboration and content.
