big-dataIntelliDyne has created a new practice that will work to develop what the company calls “advanced analytics platforms” designed to generate data-driven insights.

Phil Vincenzes, president and consulting chief technology officer at NetVentures Enterprises, will join IntelliDyne to lead the advanced analytics practice and serve as the company’s senior vice president for advanced analytic solutions, IntelliDyne said Tuesday.

“It’s time to deliver on the marketing promises of big data; to make it accessible, visual, and economically within reach,” Vincenzes said.

He said IntelliDyne’s advanced analytics practice will work to combine services with customized software tools as part of its “platform-agnostic” approach.

IntelliDyne also announced that it has received contracts worth $80 million combined to provide information technology support services for agencies across the Defense Department.

Falls Church, Virginia-based IntelliDyne provides IT consulting support services for federal agencies and commercial enterprises across various areas such as analytics, cloud, cybersecurity, mobile computing, data center consolidation, application development, and business process management.
