Ultra Electronics‘ Ultra TCS business has received an $18 million contract from an unnamed NATO member country for a variant of the unit’s ALR-510 ELectronic INTelligence system and perform additional support services.
The customer will use the ELINT system on unmanned aerial vehicles and control the UAV through Ultra TCS’ TALON software from a ground support center, Ultra said Thursday.
Ultra TCS will also handle the installation and systems engineering and test support, as well as provide its radar threat simulator Ultra EWST and electronic warfare equipment and engineering support for the delivery of the UAV platforms.
