ManpackRadio1The Department of the Air Force has announced it wants to negotiate a contract for the production, repair and logistics support of a global positioning system receiver for the Defense Department and foreign military customers.

The Air Force plans to solicit proposals on June 21 and award a contract by March 2017 with a base period of one year and four one-year ordering periods.
