NEC Corp. has selected Iron Mountain‘s underground western Pennsylvania data center to serve as primary colocation provider of the former’s private cloud and operations service.
Iron Mountain said Tuesday that its facility has been selected to support SAP HANA for its comprehensive compliance support and security, federal-ready services as well as its data center marketplace and cloud services provider neutrality.
“Bart & Associates implemented NEC’s SAP HANA hosting solution, for our internal SAP instance,” said Jonathan Evans, president of Bart & Associates.
“As a federal systems integrator, we’re focused on delivering innovative solutions for the public sector’s rapidly emerging cloud security and technology standards.”
Iron Mountain said it helped NEC take steps to achieve SAP-Certified Provider status through validations of service management processes, security measures, facility setup work, operations experience and staff.
