Unisys and Microsoft have agreed to expand their global cloud management and security partnership in an effort to help address customer demand for cloud-based cybersecurity tools.
As part of the alliance, the companies plan to create new products intended to secure cloud computing systems and Unisys intend to exhibit its new cloud security technology for the public and private sector clients, Unisys said Monday.
Ann Johnson, vice president of Microsoft’s enterprise cybersecurity group, said the partnership aims to help clients expand protection from their data centers to the Azure cloud infrastructure.
Unisys unveiled in April its Stealth (cloud) for Microsoft Azure offering designed to provide micro-segmentation security to Azure from customers’ enterprises.
Stealth is built to provide an extra layer of security, integrate cloud security management for enterprises and transfer workloads to Azure in a safe environment.
