Military & Aerospace: Curtiss-Wright Launches Data Storage Tech for ISR Aircraft

curtiss-wright-logo_GovConWireCurtiss-Wright has unveiled a small form factor SWaP-optimized data storage technology for unmanned aerial and underwater vehicles and ISR aircraft, Military & Aerospace Electronics reported Friday.

Mil & Aero staff write the Data Transport System 1-Slot network attached storage delivers up to two terabytes of storage and supports encryption to help protect data at rest.

The report added DTS1 supports rugged applications that need storage, removal or transport of cockpit data, ISR, mobile applications, heavy industry and video/audio data collection.
