technology-cyber-cloud-computerParticipants from NATO’s communications and information agency and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association International will host a conference in Estonia to discuss new strategies to address Euro-Atlantic security and cyber threats.

The international event called NITEC will include panel discussions with Estonia’s president Toomas Hendrick Ilves and Adm. Michael Rogers, U.S. Cyber Command director and National Security Agency chief, AFCEA International said Friday.

The three-day event will take place Tuesday through Thursday and act as a platform for allies to collaborate on strategies for reinforcements, develop new systems of cooperation between military and industry partners and discuss practices and common mistakes in bid proposals.

NITEC will also tackle cyber basics through leadership, accountability and transparency as well as business opportunities for interested parties, AFCEA added.
