Parsons was able to raise $17,000 during its 9th annual Golf Classic held June 13 at the Augustine Golf in Stafford, Virginia, for the benefit of two veteran groups.

All proceeds of the event were donated to the Veterans Education and Training and the Warrior Canine Connection to provide financial support to programs for veterans transitioning back to the civilian life, Parsons said Wednesday.

“Parsons is proud to support our military veterans through donations to IVET and WCC,” stated Mary Ann Hopkins, Parsons group president.

“Helping veterans adjust to civilian life is a small thank you for the sacrifices they have made to keep our country safe,” she added.
