DataCenterQTS Realty Trust will host Georgia Hospital Association’s information technology systems through the company’s Atlanta-Metro data center under an agreement between QTS and GHA.

QTS provides data center migration and managed hosting services in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act, the company said Thursday.

Brandon Hargrett, vice president and chief information officer of GHA, said GHA has already completed the migration phase and has begun to use QTS’ customer portal in order to facilitate access and administrative processes.

GHA is a nonprofit trade group consists of 170 hospitals and health systems in Georgia.

QTS also unveiled in May its Healthcare Community Cloud, an Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform designed for use by health organizations.
