Army Taps Georgia Tech Applied Research for Technical Support to Natl Ground Intell Center - top government contractors - best government contracting event

solider, equipment, c4isrThe Georgia Institute of Technology’s applied research organization has secured a five-year, $35 million contract from the U.S. Army to provide offsite technical support for the foreign materiel division of the National Ground Intelligence Center.

Georgia Tech Applied Research Corp. will analyze and exploit foreign military hardware in an effort to help the NGIC’s foreign materiel division access intelligence and operational data, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

DoD added gathered information will support research and development, test , evaluation, scientific and technical intelligence and warfighter contingency training missions.

The Army Intelligence and Security Command awarded the contract through an online-based solicitation with one bid received.

Funding and performance location will be determined upon the award of each order and the Pentagon expects Georgia Tech Applied Research Corp. to complete work by July 19, 2021.
