The Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency has issued a request for proposals for a potential five-year contract to provide audit services in compliance with the annual reporting requirements of the Federal Information Security Modernization Act.
CSOSA said in a FedBizOpps notice published Friday potential contractors are required to conduct an independent review of the information security initiatives and practices of CSOSA and the Pretrial Services Agency through the use of assessment procedures in the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s special publication 800-53A.
The single-award, firm-fixed-price contract will have a base term of two months that will run from Sept. 2 through Nov. 20, 2016 and four option years that is slated to conclude by November 2020.
CSOSA also requires potential vendors to access the Department of Homeland Security’s Cyberscope FISMA Reporting System in order to populate the FISMA Inspector General reporting metrics.
Potential contractors are also required to get a personal identity verification smart card issued by CSOSA in order to access the DHS Cyberscope system through the Office of Management Budget’s Max online portal as well as leverage other independent assessments’ technical test results.
Responses to the RFP are due Aug. 5.
