Ekuber Ventures to Help Maintain Commerce Dept’s Customer Relationship, Content Mgmt Systems

cloud computingThe Commerce Department has selected ekuber Ventures to provide lifecycle support for the department“™s customer relationship management and Drupal content management systems under a multi-million dollar contract.

Ekuber said Tuesday it will maintain a Siebel CRM platform in three ecosystems for the department as well as transition applications to the Salesforce platform.

The company will also help the department implement Drupal components, develop Drupal features, move into the Amazon Web Services cloud and support Drupal and legacy PHP websites.

Ekuber was awarded the department“™s first phase of the Salesforce CRM project and the latest award represents the second phase.

The company also previously received a blanket purchase agreement from the General Services Administration to maintain the Perfromance.gov website for the Office of Management and Budget and 32 other agencies.

The National Defense Space Architecture would operate mainly from low Earth orbit to support secure military sensing and SDA needs industry input on the system's Tranche 1 Product Line, the agency said Friday in a SAM.gov request for information notice.


DARPA Calls for Communications Tech Concepts to Support Troop’s Jungle Operations

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has asked industry for concepts on information systems and electronic communications that can support troops operating in jungle environments. DARPA said May 7 in a SAM.gov notice its SQUad Intelligent Robotic Radio Enhancing Link or SQUIRREL is meant to provide small military units boosted situational awareness in forest operations.
